        Holy fuck I almost had a heart attack. Why would anyone ever pay that much for non-specialized (i.e. winter jackets) clothing?

          Arguably, you could wear jeans regularly for a decade plus, assuming you don’t change size. I have carhartt jeans that are about 20 years old, and still going strong. I would wear them more often if they were quite that heavy.

          A specialized winter coat often cost significantly more per wear.

        Yeh, they’re expensive.
        But lifetime of free repairs. And ethically made.

        I’ve come to realise that if I want to see everyone get a living wage (not just a minimum wage), then I have to be prepared to spend more for that.
        So I do my best to buy ethical products made as close to home as I can.

        And fuck Nestlé
