The European Union will from 1 November introduce a €2 handling fee on packages from outside the bloc in a bid to curb the influx from China.

    I’m still fuming about the absence of provision for personal gifts. I used to love sending Xmas and birthday presents to my family in France but last time I sent a HANDMADE BY ME gift to my mum I had to pay 16eur for the privilege. Ludicrous.

    So that only makes me more angry. How dare they lump me in with Chinese tat senders???

        Well they’re not technically my government, I don’t have the relevant nationality so I’m not allowed to vote outside of the local stuff.

        Although I could do the British thing and write to my MP for them to send back a copy-pasted response telling me to piss off. Even better I could write to the ambassador to complain.Great suggestion! (I mean it I’m not being sarcastic)

      I hope the UK will rejoin the EU soon. Brexit has been a shit show, and most of the people who voted to leave are dead by now anyway.
