French here. This is all escalading quickly. They’re planning on sending the army and special forces to secure next saturday’s protests. I wouldn’t be surprised they use similar forces to enforce potential future curfews. People from center to moderate left to far left are horrified. Authoritarianism at it’s best. Seems like a popular flavor all around the world. Very scary
They have successfully turned a protest into a riot. I feel bad for the people that actually want change instead of some free looted shit.
