In one message Ha wrote, “The end of American jews is close. Let’s start with the jews in Lower Merion,” the Philadelphia township where Haverford is located. In another he said, “If jews are so special then they should also be placed in special camps and receive special treatments,” court documents show.
Idiots like this professor really are antisemites and should be condemned as such, but Hamas—unjustified as it is in targeting civilians through terrorism—isn’t targeting Israelis because they’re Jewish, they’re targeting them because the Zionist movement colonized Palestinian-owned land. Terrorism is never justified, but it’s important to not conflate anti-Zionism with antisemitism.
Nice thought, but this doesn’t reflect the reality on the ground. Antisemitism is common in countries where stupid people imagine that Jews are controlling them. Imagine how easy it must be to hate Jews when the Star of David is on the occupying forces uniform and tanks.
