Yeah, a table-top turn-based battle simulator. The units have ranges of movement and of fire and line of sight matters. People build interesting terrains and then pit armies of similar strength (I think by using a point buy system) against each other.
I played a round using a friend’s sister’s army against him and his once. I think his sister’s army was from the Imperial Army. I’m sure he had T’au, because I remember his Kroot fucked me up with their movement speed, or maybe a wood bonus, something like that. The game was not bad, but didn’t capture me either.
Is Warhammer actually a game? I thought it was just grown-ups painting goblin figurines.

I have zero interest in the game, but the books are great pulp fiction if you don’t want to deal with anything taking itself to seriously.
