The 87-year-old whose eviction sparked a domestic crisis and triggered nationwide anti-government protests has died in hospital late on Wednesday. Protesters say they will continue to demonstrate to uphold her legacy.

    I have to add something about those “who break ranks”. These are the most dangerous people to your own movement. One false step from these people (that prefer hurting others over talking) can swing public sentiment against a completely legitimate movement. Policing them is far more important for the side they say they are on than for the opposition, which is just waiting for some dumb fucks to make mistakes that can be used in the media to demonize everyone associated.

    That’s not to say that these people are a complete liability - if they are holding back when it is needed, and that is most of the time in any confrontation, they are a valuable asset! And if shit goes down, i would be happy to have them by my side. But it is very important in this medially driven times (and especially since most media are nowadays controlled by people who have no morals at all) that their flashy ways are not the standard you employ while things are still in motion.
