i used to have a boss that would never set meeting lengths, everything in the calendar was just the default 10 minutes. and boy was he a talker. there were at least two occasions where we had to break off the daily status update after 90 minutes without anyone but him having relayed what they were doing. he spent the time reviewing the core values of the organisation and shouting.
