When fraudulent practices are detected, Qobuz applies strict measures: affected streams are excluded from reporting and royalty payments, and the associated content is removed from the catalogue. Qobuz thereby continues its long-standing commitment to fair compensation for artists.
That’s fair. If I want to listen to generated music, make sure I can search for it.
Before you start hammering downvote, notice that I’m in agreement with filtering out the generated tracks. Good music is good music, whether you play it correctly on the centuries-old grand piano, jam out on the guitar and drums, key in the synths on a midi, play a neural net, or a jar of mayonnaise. I don’t want to encourage people to hide how they made their music. If it’s generated, tag it as such. Let the people that actually want to listen decide if it’s slop or serious.
