When fraudulent practices are detected, Qobuz applies strict measures: affected streams are excluded from reporting and royalty payments, and the associated content is removed from the catalogue. Qobuz thereby continues its long-standing commitment to fair compensation for artists.

They asked the QBZ dev to stall his efforts. He pushed a final polishing release and obliged, with no hard feelings in the announcement.
The official webapp (installed with PWA for Firefox) doesn’t do too bad of a job either, so I was worried I had to switch again but will use that one for now.
