The spiders and I have an accord: They get 6 inches down from the ceiling as their territory, and any dark place where I can’t see them. If they make themselves visible outside that area, they’re deported to outside. As long as they abide by this, I will throw any other bug I find in my house except bees into a spider web.
Nice rhubg to do, I approve. But may I ask: why not bees? Do you have an accord with them too?
Bees are in danger and far more important to the ecosystem as pollinators than as spider food. Plus any bee in my house is clearly just lost and confused rather than trying to move in.
Depending on your location, that bee might be an invasive species.

I grew up in Jamaica and had a shower made out of concrete. I used to always have to run the (cold) water for a few minutes before i got in so all the bugs and frogs could get out.
I haven’t seen many spiders this year. Maybe 10% of what I had last year. I’m not even sure I’ve seen any in my house this year. It’s weird. They use to be all over the outside of my house. Kept a lot of mosquitoes and insects away.
Don’t know why the change this year. I haven’t done anything different.

For real, they seem to loveee me… last month I woke up with one crawling on me first thing in the morning.
Same, I think I’m cursed, there was one crawling up my leg yesterday inside my pants. No shortage of spiders out here
I don’t have anytjing against spiders, but that would mean a one way trip to spider heaven
Imagine if there was a terrible mixup and it was you that got sent to spider heaven!
Always make sure the area is clear of our spider friends first before a shower or vacuuming or such. They’re just trying to help.
ive been having this with cave crickets, they’re everywhere in my house recently and i always have to remove at least one to shower
Do you live in a cave? Because that could explain things.
i understood when they were in the basement because thats like a cave, but what are they doing on the second floor
