By that standard pretty much everything is “partially” natural. You’re almost always going to have at least one starting material that was derived from a plant or other natural product.
Lysergic acid diethylamide, commonly known as LSD (from German Lysergsäurediethylamid) and by the nicknames acid and Lucy, is a semisynthetic psychedelic drug derived from ergot, known for its potent psychological effects.
I am an organic chemist working with the synthesis of natural products. I don’t think it’s common for chemists within this field to refer to chemicals that have undergone several addition steps as “natural”, and certainly not when communicating with non-chemists.
Note that the term “natural product” has very precise meaning in chemistry, which is different from what non-chemists would intuit. I would normally not use that term when talking to non-chemists.
