I get it though. Back in undergrad I was really struggling with undergrad quantum 1 until I tried doing homework during a psilocybin trip. It wasn’t like an “aha I understand everything perfectly now” kind of experience, but I went from considering dropping the class to having a manageably difficult time with it after I made whatever brain pathways I did thinking about the subject while tripping

I think it’s mostly that you get super into what you’re looking at and find it ridiculously fascinating.
Really wanting to learn is the best way to git gud.
