I’m sure these will be totally normal elections that are fair and legitimate

Even if it doesn’t actually matter, voting serves to legitimize the rule of a dictator so they tend to promote it, and there might be clowns who think they actually live in a democracy over there. Also, while I’m not exactly optimistic, there could be offices that aren’t entirely decided via electoral fraud, or where you have multiple bad options you get to more or less choose from.
