Yeah, that’d be great. I see no reason why we should limit this union to Europe. We could always rename it. :)
Greenland technically is part of the EU and has a border with Canada. So it’s not that far off as well.

Greenland is not part of the EU.
Greenland even left the European Economic Community in 1985.
Nowadays people are getting more and more interested in EU membership, perhaps that will come one day. But even though Greenland is not part of the EU, the people are EU citizens.
