    No it’s not. I’m in charge of 30 people in a place that has close to a hundred employees. It’s my department. I am the one that makes those choices. However I do not make their union contract and I do not do anything other than adhere to what their CBA holds them to. I have only terminated one person for attendance in my time of 5 years. The rest of been neglence of safety on the employee.

      If it’s your choice than employ enough people that some else can jump in if someone is sick or takes a vacation everything else is just bad management.
