During a Champions League football match last season, Gianluca Prestianni was accused of making a racist comment towards Vinicius Junior. There was no hard proof, but the circumstantial evidence was pretty clear. After the match I read a comment that said, “It’s not all Argentines, but it’s always someone from Argentina.” I found that to be profoundly apt at the time. Then during the WC, the team further displayed their thuggery specifically about the Falkland islands.
