Almost like years of seeing people abused and murdered while their houses and business are razed to the ground can radicalize people.

Exactly! They say that when you get older, the more conservative you get. I’m the god damn opposite, and I live in Denmark, own a house etc. I literally cannot complain, as I am myself in the 1% (of the world), but I’m just so fucking tired of the inequality that exists in the world. And I mean everywhere: from the local community to the global stage. It’s tiring, and I do not believe that we will get rid of the evil without evil. It’s been tried again and again, but there is always some fucking plutocrat that always wants more power.

The king of Norway is dead, the current king has baggage with his family. I think the monarchy should be dismantled, and Norway should implement something similar to what Switzerland has.

That expression about the older we get the more conservative was explicitly for boomers who reaped immensely from runaway neoliberalism. Millennial and Gen Z have had nothing but worsening conditions. I expect that saying to age out. We are radicalizing. I followed the same path as you. A decades proud reformer. But neoliberalism cannot be reformed.
