Like the shower?
Some time ago, I saw a YT video where some guy said that he loves Italy, but Italy doesn’t love him back. For a long time, he tried to keep is YT business in Italy, but the system just made it impossible, so he had to move. A tragic story.
You can also hate a place and not leave it because you’re too poor/disconnected to leave

Tell it to the migrants who walked to the US from south America with nothing but the clothes on their backs.
And why, pray tell, do you think these people are walking to
? Which local country’s meddling in their home country’s foreign affairs destabilized their homes and forced them to leave for the nearest (relatively) stable rich nation? I’ll give you a hint:

Same goes for fandoms/communities: You can still like a community despite not interacting with it.
Source: me, a brony who doesn’t really interact with the community anymore but still appreciates it
POV: You’re my bed on a work day.
My bed on any day
You can leave pretty much any place no matter your feelings on it.
Prison?
They didn’t say it would be easy
i think i saw a movie about that once
No thanks.
maybe you can spiritualy leave instead?
Yes because the Spanish government kept saying I was an “illegal immigrant” and I had “overstayed my visa.”
Can confirm, I once heard a song about how there must be 50 ways to leave your lover
I think I heard that from OP, actually.
I’ve spent much of my adult life being transient, going to where I find work. It’s given me the ability to see interesting places, but rarely to know them deeply. There have been places I wanted to stay. Good community, good support networks. I loved the place, but struggled to find work. I left. It isn’t always great but I was used to moving.
I can’t imagine what it is like for immigrants traveling longer distances than me. Just for work and a better life. I believe they are leaving good communities and support networks not just for work, but for bigger reasons than I can really understand. How awful to get to a place and find it to be hateful towards them but have no immediate option to leave. It shouldn’t be that way.
