The British government should investigate if the Royal Family is paying newspapers to write favorable stories about it and attacking Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. This is important because the Royal Family is supported by British taxpayers.

Lobbying is and always has been legalised bribery. That they’re extending it to parties that aren’t political (at least, not officially), is not a surprise.

That the law allows this scope creep ought to be a surprise, but alas…

This happens. I watched GEO Group try to pay journalists in Chicago to write positively about their planned immigrant detention center ten years ago. Still not sure if they succeeded.
