      We aren’t so lucky.

      Children that age have a very sharp sense of fairness and cause/effect relation. They sort their issues out if allowed to.

      The adults in that role most often take it either for the social prestige or because they couldn’t get anything better.

        Oh, it was definitely the mentally unstable morons at your school, but it was also the mentally unstable morons at everyone else’s school too

        Kids can’t fight back after all, so there is no pushback punishing the teachers.

        Good luck with teens, who will get parente hawking for them, or adults, who will rip her a new one right there and then.
