basically what the title says. when you’re “loyal” to somebody, that means you’ll take their side, even when they’re wrong, and that’s unfair towards the rest of the world.

I’m not sure loyalty is blindly defending or agreeing with objectively bad or incorrect things. I’d define loyalty as having the courage to offer honest correction, hold someone accountable, and help them to do the right thing.
