I must be less of a collector and more focused on practicalities. I am not really listening to music in front of a stereo, I’m using headphones while out and about walking/public transport, etc. I might find some CDs, cassette tapes, or even records in my house somewhere, but I’m not actively listening to those. I can’t listen to records, cassettes, or CDs while out and about. My only option is digital files. I have ripped some of these from CDs but I’d guess I’ve re-bought more than I’ve ripped.
