    They will get less labor whether they want it or not. They are banking on being able to fill it in with AI.

      Not at all. AI is primarily a tool for domestic surveillance and war. AI cannot produce surplus value to be extracted for profit. They aren’t trying to replace workers with AI. At least not in the long term.
