Once we get rid of that pesky AMOC, it should cool back down quickly. Or at least make things different.
A habit of mine, to type something into search suggestions that my brain thinks might not be right. First thing that comes up with “amoc” is “amoc collapse news”. Whee.
if you want to speed it up, you can set AI agents to automatically search the web for news related to that and alert you. So with all the heat for them to run you’ll make your contribution to AMOC collapse. (and of course this is /s)
34’C/94’F for Berlin next Friday is pretty toasty.
Some models are showing 40°C+ for most to all of Germany on sunday, and even the models that tend to be a bit too low show mid 30s. I am living off hope those predictions are off and there’s a chaotic factor not accounted for yet.
