He’s literally equating militant fascism with the culture that seeks to deplatform the kind of people that support fascism. Hope that clears it up for you.
In the quote I showed he’s equating the censorship/authoritarianism of nazi germany to that of the USSR. Of the comments he has made, I actually find that apt. Your interpretation only makes sense if you’re equating the USSR with leftism generally which says as much about you as it does him.
I understand boycotting the game because of uncouth comments of its creator, especially when it comes to women’s rights / sexual assault / etc., but please be honest that’s the reason if it truly is why. I am at least not convinced he’s a fascist based purely on what I’ve seen him say.
