    Also you develop a good management system that works for you because that is how you “survive” the early years (2-10?) when you are taught habits/productivity, social skills, etc - regardless if they come easy to you or if it’s just a bunch of effort/adrenaline/masking dumped into it.

    (But then we got old & it’s getting harder to keep up with it.)

      Adult child of an emotionally immature parent - I wasn’t really taught social skills so much as listening skills, and the quiet delight of books and time to oneself. The loneliness epidemic has been the best thing that ever happened to me.
