A shower head company tried this experiment. They had their product made in Asia and in America. Everyone still bought the cheaper one even though there was a clear indication that an American manufactured product (same product mind you) was also for sale.
People don’t REALLY care where something is made. It’s just a talking point during election season.
I think the joke is that trump supporters would think everyone else is paying one hundred dollars so they proudly proceed into paying ten times the real price.
