It’s not a his bedroom. It’s not messy. He routinely talks about being a good person and shits all over right-wing dbags.

Lastly, he made a video not long ago showing his actual YouTube and Twitch earrings, how they work, etc. then turned off all monetization across his platforms after telling everyone “I’ve got enough money.”

Charlie is as close to an online male role model as you’ll find nowadays.

How the fuck is this guy like the number one fucking content creator on YouTube!!!

I use anonymous wrappers to get to my content and this penguin0 guy is ALWAYS at the top and so I’ve hoped in and listened and it it’s just… it’s shit. There are like 15 view streamers with more interesting or better takes.

It’s just what the other people said. Basically, imagine a podcast like Joe Rogan, except not insane lol

He’s the everyman giving his two cents on current events in a non-pretentious, non-SEO optimized-for-engagement way. (There’s even a meme about how generic all his video titles are, “X situation is crazy”)

The reason he’s popular is the polar opposite of slop like Mr. Beast. He isn’t trying to maximize viewership with stupid bullshit like “I SPENT 20 NIGHTS IN 20 MANSIONS!1!!” It’s mundane commentary that most people find relatable, the most part being key. He’s popular because the median average of viewers find his content agreeable and are one of the first sources they reference for pop culture or weird topical news “I wonder what Charlie’s take is on this”.

Check out one of his videos about a topic you find remotely interesting, maybe it’ll make more sense.

He’s just one of the old guard. been on YouTube since he was a teen, hasn’t had a major controversy and has delivered consistent relatable down-to-earth content. He might be one of the earlier pioneers of reaction content on YouTube.

The future is bleak for the youth, they’re doing what they can to get through it but the pickings are slim.
