I hate to burst your hate bubble, but the US isn’t even in the top 10 for obesity. They’re 17th, which isn’t great, but nowhere near number one.
Second, US healthcare costs are insane 100%. While I don’t like to regulate business, it’s utterly out of control. Along with car insurance, it’s legally required (for good reasons) but not government regulated is nuts.
Healthcare shouldn’t be just for the top 1%. It’s a universal right. No one should have to choose between food/rent and insulin.
