Brazil’s Senate dealt a political blow to President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva on Wednesday by rejecting his appointee to the Supreme Court, the first in more than 130 years.
His legal cases have been largely discredited as political persecution rather than genuine corruption: the UN Human Rights Committee concluded that his trials violated due process and the presumption of innocence, the Brazilian Supreme Court annulled his conviction in 2021 after finding the presiding judge Sergio Moro was biased and lacked jurisdiction, and Moro himself later ran against Lula as a political candidate — revealing a clear conflict of interest that undermined the entire prosecution.
Uh? Wth are you talking about? Lula and his party were involved in a corruption scheme that stole billions of reais, that man is nowhere near ‘good’, his only saving grace is that bolsonaro is worse than cancer

They only nullified the evidence not because the evidence was fabricated, it was all true, but because of the way the evidence was obtained. Billions were stolen from the people so AT BEST Lula and his party didnt know anything about it and is so incompetent that didnt notice (Dilma was even director of petrobras during it) and at worst he was the mastermind behind it all.
And I know all of it, I literally live here.
EDIT: Lula literally confessed to making use of a renovation to the country-side house he used on video to a judge because he didn’t know that qualifies as corruption, funny as fuck
Sadly, while bolsonaro is shit and lula is a little better, Lula is still corrupt as fuck
What are your sources to say Lula is corrupt?

Yes, the good old letting perfect be the enemy of good!
