    Well, it’s hardly surprising that such propaganda has been successful, especially since it contains more truth than most U.S. media outlets dare to publish these days.

      It also takes a collective childhood memory and does something very edgy with it. That tickles our brains in a very funny way.

      Is it propaganda when it’s 100% true? Is it called propaganda because it’s pro-foreign?

        Propaganda is just media with a specific social or politcal bias it is trying to convince the reader of. It has nothing to do with veracity. Even advertising is a form of propaganda.

        The most effective propaganda is either true, or has been repeated so long, loud, and often, people refuse to believe it’s a lie.
