These buffoons had one term of seeing him no keeping promises and throwing people under the bus, they needed a second one to be sure. As well they’re still Republicans and thusly reprehensible.
It’s really not so different than the Dems. Republican voters largely decided that he was a horrible human being, but that they should support him for reasons like SCOTUS positions. They’re just voting for their lesser evil.
