The shitty train service is literally one of the reasons I started flying. Once you travel >300km it’s faster, more reliable (at least compared to German trains) and costs about the same.
Excited to report they’re finally building Rail Baltica. When it’s ready in a decade, perhaps flying will be more expensive than the train finally. Hopefully enough to offset the time lost by taking the train.
Europe isn’t all connected to the same rail network even if people online would like you to believe that.
