Donald Trump said Sunday that if Iran does not make a deal regarding its nuclear program, "we’ll find out” whether Iran’s supreme leader was correct to predict that a U.S. attack on the country would spark a regional war.

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s Sunday remarks on a potential war come as Trump has weighed military action against Iran in response to the country’s nuclear ambitions and the government’s bloody crackdown on protesters.

The thing is with Venezuela the line of succession was clear and the State was unified.

With Iran from what I understand there isn’t a clear successor as the original figure died in a helicopter crash. And in terms of Unity although the State looks to be working there are reports of tension between the IRGC and the Regular Military.

Not to mention the Iranian Protest movement is looking to remove the current State and have it replaced with something else (with an obvious Monarchist Faction in the movement.) meanwhile for Venezuela it’s opposition movement is ostensibly in exile
