How do these ghouls always evade the responsibility of providing evidence that what they’re doing will work before taking your freedoms away? We always end up with the people nobody trusts saying “Trust me, bro, or you’ll make me hurt you.”

the government wants to protect children. Okay…well we’ve had a surveillance state in the US since 2001 that extends far beyond the boundaries of American territory And there’s also the “eyes” alliances too. The US is part of several of them

if the US government wanted to end all forms of human trafficking and jail every pedophile on earth they could’ve done it many years ago.

Even if they don’t use the internet, there’s all kinds of phone and financial records that definitely give away what, where and when their crimes happened.

These new restrictions don’t protect children from anything and they don’t make anything safer. We learned from the “tea” app that those idiots had literally no security on their users’ data. All those ID cards used to verify the users there were stolen, all the chats they had with each other were stolen too.

Big companies go through data breaches constantly. If anyone thinks it’s a good idea to let companies like facebook or google have our identity information and where we all live, they’re stupid beyond help

Facebook got hacked 5 times while I was typing this and 10 more times when you were reading this. No one should have to dox themselves because of lazy idiots not wanting to parent their kids

Remember that movie Idiocracy? Stupid people out-breed smart people 1000-1. All these parents who have a dozen kids are too stupid to set up parental controls, or at the very least have a mature conversation about the differences between porn and real life relationships, or to establish trust with their kids that makes them always feel comfortable enough to seek out their parents’ help when they get into trouble

So instead, all these Karens just want the internet to be the digital equivalent to a padded cell.

You’re taking too seriously the idea that these restrictions are intended to protect children. That’s just what the politicians say to sell increased surveillance to the public. The point of the surveillance is control.

I wonder what happens when you provide a fake, AI-generated ID with a random person generator? Would it know?

They want to track and disappear people who post negativity about the current ruling power. Very dystopia
