I have Spotify as well and i agree with all your negatives about them, but at least there is some money flowing towards the little guys. I am keeping an eye on all the alternatives in the comments here though, although personally i feel much better about pirating a movie made by a billion-dollar company than an album by a small band that’s barely getting by.

my lack of humour
I can’t know about that, but maybe it’s just different. Don’t know why you’re getting so many downvotes. Might be that to other people it’s more obvious i didn’t meant registering at polymarket literally and understood it’s not something i seriously plan to do. Either way, don’t worry about it and take care ✌️.

it’s not the governement making this call, but avrotros, the broadcaster.
Yeah quite likely the government wouldn’t have made the call. Great example of why publicly funded media should get to operate independently.

I don’t use polymarket or it’s competitors, i barely ever gamble and if i wanted too i wouldn’t do it online and definitely not there. The joke i was trying to make is that i am really sure of my prediction. Thank you for telling anyone unaware that polymarket is an immoral gambling site run by US tech oligarchs. We do not disagree.

My country, the Netherlands is already boycotting Eurovision, i’m not used to not having to congratulate our government for being on the right side of history. Personally, i expect Israel to buy a shitload of votes again and this time win the contest, then they get to organise the whole thing and will call the countries not coming to their party antisemitic haters. Might register at polymarket to bet on that outcome. If Israel wins this year, i hope the boycotting countries will start an alternative ESC and persuade the not boycotting countries to join them instead of going to Israel.
Edit: typo

The one good thing in this is that the car remains the responsibility of the person driving it. That won’t keep everybody safe, but at least nobody will get away with saying they got a faulty/imperfect car.
The only thing 3d about earth are the dents in thd crust buddy, don’t be silly
What are you talking about, don’t you see all that white (or black in dark mode) space surrounding the rectangle?
I call fake, many images have shown the world is not a perfect circle but more of a rectangle, example:

Friendly reminder: products of European supermarkets house brands are often produced in Europe, so profits stay in Europe.
Just curious, what kind of furniture is this? It looks like a table with a bench or a picnic table with the seat attached but if it were it wouldn’t make sense since the middle plank is lower than the other two. Also none of the surfaces seem wide enough to function as a table.

They sell these cute (but even more expensive) chocolate eggs:
What a noob, way better to wait till you’ve died and none of it matters anymore.

Visually looks good, but then they only publish (so far 3 posts only) material on Instagram. Thumbs down for that, hope they start a blog or something too and that @Blaze@piefed.zip let’s us know through here. Thanks for sharing though!

I understand why the world is the way it is, but still it should have been obvious all along that it is not ideal for the government to data in a file format owned by a company. Even worse, a foreign company.

I agree that’s worse morally, but that not worse for the diplomatic relation between two of the worlds biggest economies.

I am using Obsidian for taking notes and making to-do lists. Maybe it is too complex to use it only for tasks, but i’m really happy with it so might be worth checking out. Although there is no web interface you could use, everything is stored in local text files (in markdown), it could be somebody made an editor or a viewer.
